At Serv-U-Success, we're looking for a Sales Account Manager to help grow our business by developing strong relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and key retail partners, including Meijer. This role combines strategic account management, data-driven selling, category expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional results for our customers and partners. If you're energized by sales, analytics, relationship-building, and solving complex business challenges, we'd love to hear from you. This is a remote work-from-home position that requires occasional attendance at the corporate office in Grandville, MI. Only candidates living within a standard commuting distance of 75 miles or less to the office will be considered. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with Meijer buyers and vendor partners. Execute assigned sales plans and consistently meet or exceed targets. Deliver clear, persuasive, and professional communications (written, verbal, and presentation). Anticipate customer needs and respond with timely, innovative solutions. Apply problem-solving skills to resolve execution challenges effectively. Negotiate to secure favorable outcomes while maintaining positive long-term relationships. Manage multiple accounts, vendors, and timelines simultaneously with precision. Analyze category and sales data (Nielsen, IRI, Power BI, Dunnhumby) to identify growth opportunities. Partner cross-functionally (operations, supply chain, retail) to ensure seamless execution. Support senior team members by preparing category reviews, presentations, and vendor reporting. Desired Education, Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent related education & experience required 2+ years in a related CPG selling role required Desire to work in a team-oriented environment, with respect for all team members Strong analytical skills and experience aggregating internal and external data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Dunnhumby, Power BI) to build an influential selling story History of proven customer service skills Able to analyze data and trends to quickly determine opportunities for improvement and develop or support a strategy for implementation Experience communicating complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels, working corporately and field-based Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and developing presentations We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
