Join Upstream Rehabilitation, where your work makes a real impact! As an Account Manager- MVAL, you will be responsible for developing and growing referral relationships with law firms, attorneys, and office staff throughout a defined region, with a primary focus on increasing Motor Vehicle Accident Lawyer (MVAL) referrals and market share.
What You'll Do:
Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to expand referral partnerships, increase MVAL referrals, and drive market growth across assigned territories. Build and maintain strong relationships with attorneys, law firms, physicians, healthcare providers, community leaders, and other key referral sources to support patient growth and brand awareness. Identify new business opportunities and implement targeted outreach strategies to strengthen existing partnerships and cultivate new referral relationships. Represent Upstream Rehabilitation through community engagement initiatives, networking events, and industry activities that enhance visibility and support business development goals. Present Upstream's services, clinical outcomes, and value proposition to referral partners using data, reporting tools, and appropriate healthcare terminology. Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities and inform business strategies. Collaborate closely with Regional Operations, Sales Leadership, Clinic Directors, and operational teams to align efforts, share insights, and achieve territory growth objectives. Track performance, measure results, and provide regular updates on progress, opportunities, and challenges to sales and operational leadership. Participate in field coaching, training, and development activities to support a high-performing sales organization. Other projects and duties as assigned.Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant sales experience. 2+ years of sales experience working with physicians, medical offices, employers, or other healthcare-related referral sources. Proven ability to build relationships, influence decision-makers, and grow business through consultative selling. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory. 1+ year of Motor Vehicle Accident Lawyer (MVAL) sales experience. Experience in healthcare, physical therapy, rehabilitation, or a related healthcare setting. Proven success managing a territory, developing referral relationships, and achieving sales goals. Experience presenting clinical services, outcomes, and value-based solutions to referral partners. $70,000- $80,000/year Estimated pay ranges listed above are based on several factors including but not limited to your pay class, experience, background and geographic location of the clinic Benefits and eligibility are dependent on employment status and pay class (full-time, part-time, or PRN).
