We provide comprehensive management and field services, including customer support, billing, meter reading, emergency response, and construction. Job Summary Crossroads Utility Services, LLC is seeking a qualified Client Relations Manager to support its growing portfolio of utility operations and maintenance contracts throughout the Greater Austin area. This position will serve as the primary liaison between Crossroads and its municipal utility district clients, ensuring exceptional client service and communication. The Client Relations Manager (CRM) is responsible for managing assigned client relationships, coordinating with internal operations teams, representing Crossroads at client meetings, and supporting business development efforts. The CRM serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, effective communication, and the successful delivery of contracted services. Responsibilities Assuming responsibility for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of a utility contract service; Formulating strategies and coordinating implementation of multiple utility projects with internal staff and/or outside consultants and contractors; Making recommendations to senior staff on new business opportunities and service offerings; Reviewing and tracking the financial performance of all contracts assigned; Coordinating with operations staff, technical consultants, contractors, engineers, attorneys, and client boards to address utility operations, regulatory compliance, construction, billing, and customer service matters; Compiling monthly reports for utility clients and senior staff; Monitoring compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and service performance standards. Making presentations to boards, commissions, city councils, or community association meetings Adhering to all state, federal, and company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions Working on assigned special projects across all Crossroads business functions; and Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; The ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines; A self-driven work ethic needing minimal supervision to complete assigned work; Industry knowledge of water and wastewater utility operations, maintenance, utility billing, meter reading, and customer service in municipal environments; General knowledge of financial management, utility budgeting, and accounting principles; Experience presenting utility and customer service-related information to municipal clients and the general public; A proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; and A valid driver's license (required) High school diploma with 5-10 years of related utility management experience; or Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, engineering, or related field with 2-5 years of related experience; or Equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with utilities (preferred) Physical Demands •Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.• Prolonged periods of sitting, computer work, and virtual/in-person meetings Frequent driving within assigned territory Ability to stand, walk, and navigate uneven terrain during site visits and facility inspections Ability to climb stairs and access operational utility facilities Occasional bending, reaching, or lifting up to 25 pounds Ability to work safely around operational equipment and in outdoor environments Work Environment Hybrid work environment including remote office work, client/vendor/consultant offices/facilities with a combination of indoor office settings and outdoor utility infrastructure environments Occasional exposure to construction sites, treatment facilities, lift stations, and varying weather conditions Position will require evening board meetings and scheduled after-hours responsiveness to operational matters. Fast-paced environment requiring management of multiple client contracts simultaneously. Work Location, Hours, Schedule and Travel Hybrid - Various locations throughout the Greater Austin area. Weekly office hours will be required 8-5pm in Round Rock, TX Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Pay:
$85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
