Summary The CRM owns the client relationship and drives revenue growth across a portfolio of new and existing accounts. This role is the primary AV and Event Technology opportunity owner — responsible for selling Freeman's full suite of event technology solutions and Freeman Company offerings, structuring long-term agreements, and ensuring clients view Freeman as a strategic partner. The CRM works closely with the CSM to transition accounts into execution while maintaining overall relationship accountability. This position will support our AV Sales group under our Growth (Sales) team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations: Dallas, TX San Antonio, TX Austin, TX Chicago, IL Orlando, FL Alexandria, VA Las Vegas, NV Essential Duties & Responsibilities Business Development & Sales
- Actively sell Freeman Event Technology solutions to new and existing clients across a portfolio generating $1M+ in annual revenue.
- Prospect new accounts through cold calls, referrals, industry events, and lead follow-up.
- Develop and present proposals, pricing, and credit terms in compliance with Freeman policies.
- Obtain future event schedules from clients and secure long-term agreements.
- Cross-sell and up-sell Freeman's full suite of services to maximize account value.
- Create and track account plans; record all activities in Salesforce CRM. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain customer relationships from C-suite through department level within each account.
- Conduct regular strategy sessions, de-briefs, and site visits throughout the year.
- Maintain a minimum 18-month renewal plan for all booked accounts.
- Host client engagement activities; entertain clients and prospects as needed.
- Respond to client complaints as required.
- Manage timely invoicing and payment collection as required.
- Utilize the Account Segmentor tool to support retention and renewal planning. Account Administration
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date revenue, key dates, documents, and contacts in Salesforce.
- Submit itemized expense reports per company policy.
- Support CSM onboarding and assist in building account team relationships.
- Attend local industry chapter events and Freeman-hosted Inside Live events.
- Collaboration with CSM
- Transition signed accounts to the CSM with full context on client requirements and expectations.
- Collaborate with CSM on pre-sale budget development and scope definition.
- Determine the CRM/CSM team communications internally and with the customer.
- Partner with CSM on upsell identification and execution of scope changes.
- Remain the escalation point for strategic relationship issues.
