Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking an outgoing, professional, and compassionate Community Outreach & Client Relations Coordinator to help grow our non-medical home care agency throughout Northern Virginia. This individual will serve as the face of our company by building relationships with healthcare professionals, presenting our services to potential clients, attending community events, and generating new referrals. The ideal candidate is confident speaking with seniors, families, healthcare professionals, and community organizations, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about helping older adults remain safe and independent at home.

Schedule:
Flexible (Part-time Contractor) Primary ResponsibilitiesCommunity Outreach & Business Development Build and maintain professional relationships with: Hospital case managers Social workers Discharge planners Rehabilitation facilities Senior living communities Assisted living facilities Independent senior communities Physicians' offices Geriatric care managers Community organizations Schedule and conduct in-person visits with referral sources. Present company services in a professional and knowledgeable manner. Represent the company at health fairs, senior expos, networking events, and community events. Distribute marketing materials and educate the community about our services. Develop long-term referral partnerships. Client Outreach Make outbound phone calls to prospective clients who inquire about our services. Follow up with leads in a professional and compassionate manner. Answer basic questions regarding our home care services. Schedule free in-home consultations. Maintain detailed notes on all client interactions. Follow up with prospective clients as appropriate. In-Home Consultations Visit prospective clients and their families when requested. Professionally introduce the agency and explain available services. Educate families on care options. Answer questions regarding private pay and available programs. Gather preliminary information for the agency owner or care coordinator. Maintain a compassionate and consultative approach. Marketing & Networking Attend networking events and represent the company professionally. Identify new referral opportunities within the community. Help organize community presentations. Assist with promotional activities. Help strengthen the company's reputation throughout the community. Administrative Responsibilities Document all outreach activities. Track referrals and follow-up activities. Maintain an organized contact database. Submit weekly activity reports. Communicate regularly with the agency owner regarding business development efforts. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Friendly, confident, and professional personality. Comfortable speaking with seniors and their families. Strong relationship-building skills. Ability to network with healthcare professionals. Professional appearance and demeanor. Strong organizational and time management skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Northern Virginia. Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance. Preferred Qualifications Experience in one or more of the following: Non-medical home care Home health Healthcare marketing Community outreach Business development Healthcare sales Senior services Medical office or hospital experience Social work or case management environment Skills Professional phone etiquette Public speaking Relationship building Customer service Networking Sales and marketing Microsoft Office Google Workspace CRM software (preferred) Canva and social media experience (a plus) Success in This Role The successful candidate will: Develop strong referral relationships throughout the community. Increase awareness of our agency. Generate qualified client referrals. Represent the company with professionalism and integrity. Provide exceptional customer service to prospective clients and referral partners. Help our agency continue to grow while making a positive impact on seniors and their families.
