  • $115,000 The Lede Company, a full-service communications, strategy, and impact consulting firm specializing in brand, corporate, entertainment, and nonprofit sectors, is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Account Manager/Associate Director with expertise in Fashion and Lifestyle to join our Brand team in Los Angeles.
With dedicated divisions in Brand, Talent, Music, Strategic Communications, Content, Events, Brand Partnerships, and Social Impact, we help clients advance business and social outcomes through innovative storytelling, media relations, strategic campaigns, and impactful partnerships. Our integrated approach combines deep industry expertise, strong relationships, and strategic thinking to consistently exceed client expectations and deliver measurable results. The Senior Account Manager will play an integral role in developing and executing strategic communications programs across a diverse portfolio of Brand clients. This individual will lead day-to-day account management for approximately 7 to 10 retainer accounts and projects, serve as a primary client contact, and partner closely with Brand leadership to drive client success, business growth, and division priorities.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead various account teams, including managing and supporting junior staff Actively pitch and secure media coverage on behalf of clients on a local, regional, national, and international level Write, proof and edit a variety of PR, communications and marketing materials, while contributing as a core team member on client accounts Develop compelling stories and draft compelling narratives on behalf of clients Lead client programs and campaigns from planning to execution within the specified budget Develop and execute compelling VIP and influencer strategies, with tangible results Collaborate with other divisions across the agency to ensure the client is getting access to the agency's network-wide expertise Deliver strong media and influencer coverage consistently producing high quality internal and external communications content Have strong connections with leading and emerging editorial talents globally Achieve exceptional outcomes for current clients and manage an extended portfolio ensuring consistency of service is delivered in line with company policy Develop press relationships and manage contacts with key commentators, stylists, industry spokespeople, and sector influencers And other duties as assigned
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE 6-8
years of PR agency experience, Proven track record of securing impactful media placements, cultivating VIP and tastemaker relationships, and leveraging deep knowledge of the evolving media landscape across traditional and new media platforms, including but not limited to: Substacks, digital outlets, social-first publications, and creator platforms to drive meaningful results for clients. Established and demonstrable network of agents and publicists within the entertainment culture and fashion industries, editors, stylists, and industry figures, particularly in fashion, arts, entertainment, and culture (personal and professional relationships are a must) Keen networker, adept at building relationships with key influencers and industry spokespeople Proven ability to present complex industry information to target audiences Excellent project management skills with strong organizational and planning skills Excellent client management skills Outstanding interpersonal skills Strong negotiation and delegation skills Business acumen with the ability to communicate across departments and represent PR within the business Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment Exceptional relationship-building skills, collaborative, and able to work well with others Knowledgeable on multiple reporting and database platforms including Launchmetrics, MeltWater, Creator IQ, Infegy, Muck Rack, and more

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Hybrid schedule: The AD will be required to work in the Lede office a minimum of 3 days a week LA Business hours: Monday
  • Friday 9:00am
  • 6:00pm; travel and weekend support will be necessary in support of client work Business travel: 10%
