Remote Location Requirement:

This is a remote position; however, to effectively support the assigned territory, candidates must reside in Northern or Western Ohio, Indiana, Northern Illinois, or Michigan. We are seeking a motivated Junior Account Manager (JAM) to join our North America Reliability Services team. This entry-level sales position is designed to develop future Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) through hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world customer engagement. As a Junior Account Manager, you'll partner with experienced Territory Sales Managers to strengthen customer relationships, support sales growth, generate proposals, and assist with project management. Clear career path to a Territory Sales Manager role What You'll Do Support Territory Sales Managers with customer visits, job walks, and site inspections.

Assist with collecting samples, inspecting equipment, conducting sales surveys, and interacting with customers.

Prepare sales proposals using company templates and pricing tools.

Identify and prioritize sales opportunities using internal IIR data.

Update customer information, opportunities, and activities within Salesforce CRM.

Support large customer projects by tracking scope changes, project documentation, billing spreadsheets, and change orders.

Prepare project summary reports and customer cost summaries.

Participate in customer meetings, commercial discussions, and safety meetings as needed.

Communicate with customers to gather project information and ensure accurate proposal development.

Conduct outbound prospecting and cold calls to identify new business opportunities and schedule appointments.

Provide administrative and sales support that enables Territory Sales Managers to spend more time with customers.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field

1-2 years of sales experience preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Valid driver's license

Willingness to travel approximately 25% or more, including occasional overnight travel

Preferred:

Experience in industrial services

Knowledge of reliability services, tribology, machinery lubrication, or oil analysis interpretation
