ABOUT OUR COMPANY
The crushing weight of debt is something that we believe holds people back from reaching their dreams and making a splash in the world. So in 2013, after seeing our friends and family struggle with student loans, we created Splash Financial. Over the years, our mission has expanded to include helping people with other forms of debt- such as refinancing credit cards, which are at all time highs in the US.
ABOUT OUR WORKPLACE
Splash is remote-first, and proud of it — though our collections team works in-person at our Arizona location. We spend our days simplifying financial products and getting them into the hands of people who need them most. Right now, we're focused on building financial technologies that fundamentally transform how the industry lends. Although Splash has been around since 2013, we still operate like a startup — fast-paced, nimble, and full of heart. We're good people who care deeply about doing meaningful work and we approach challenges with creativity, passion, and urgency. And to hire the best, we provide the best: great health insurance, competitive salaries, and unique benefits like quarterly meet-ups and access to engagement tools that keep us connected — even from afar. At Splash, everything we do is guided by our values: Own It- We take full accountability and follow through on commitments. Raise the Bar
- We move fast, innovate faster, and push through barriers. Say the Hard Thing
- We speak up with honesty, respect, and a desire to solve problems and make things better. Elevate Each Other
- We win as a team by lifting each other up.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- This role is onsite five days a week (Monday-Friday) at our Mesa, AZ office and currently follows an East Coast schedule (9:00 AM-6:00 PM) due to oversight responsibilities for First Source agents.
WHAT YOU'LL DO AT SPLASH
Own day-to-day servicing oversight functions across outsourced partners, including hardship request intake and approvals, vendor complaint monitoring, buyer call and communication sampling, Regulation F conduct checks, and resale restriction checks for debt buyers. Manage day-to-day oversight of First Source (FS) agents: handle daily questions and case management, conduct monthly call reviews and compliance QA reviews with action plans, hold weekly 1:1s, complete account reviews, lead call calibration sessions and agent training, and review agent KPIs on a regular basis. Own the debt sale process end-to-end: manage day-to-day debt buyer relationships, screen monthly charge-offs for sale and placement eligibility, prepare and reconcile debt sale files, track exclusions, place deceased accounts into probate, and process buy-backs and payments.Manage collection agency relationships:
prepare placement files, retrieve remittances, validate and route invoices for payment, reconcile agency accounts, review demands and settlements, conduct FDCPA/Regulation F oversight, monitor agency complaint performance, lead QA calibration and content review sessions, and maintain recovery tracking. Support (rather than own) collections strategy, segmentation and placement criteria, and dialer/campaign decisions, which stay with the Servicing Strategy Manager — this role executes QA checks and reviews against existing compliance policy rather than setting strategy or writing policy.WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPLASH
Must reside in the greater Phoenix/Mesa, AZ area. 2-4 years of experience in collections, servicing operations, financial services, or vendor/agent oversight, including prior experience supervising or coaching agents and conducting quality assurance reviews. A high school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree preferred). Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured data files, with the ability to professionally manage relationships with outsourced partners and field agents. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work productively across a range of stakeholders. Familiarity with FDCPA/Regulation F concepts is a plus.COMPENSATION
The base salary range for this role is $54,000- $60,000 annually, based on market data and internal compensation practices.
