PERSONAL LINES
Licensed Agent, Account Manager-Producer is a client-facing, licensed insurance professional responsible for managing and expanding an existing book of business . This role is not focused on cold calling or new-logo hunting. Instead, success comes from consistent prospecting and client engagement, expert guidance, and proactive identification of additional coverage needs . This role combines account management, subject-matter expertise, and consultative sales expansion . It is designed for someone who enjoys owning relationships, staying organized, and growing revenue by serving clients well. Over time, this role may evolve into a broader business development or producer position for the right individual. Key Responsibilities 1. Client Account Management (Licensed Work) Establish and onboard new client accounts, including setting up and issuing insurance policies Serve as the primary licensed point of contact for assigned clients Respond to client questions with confidence and clarity, acting as a trusted insurance subject-matter expert Review policies for accuracy, explain coverage terms, limits, and exclusions, and identify gaps in protection 2. Ongoing Client Engagement & Retention Maintain regular, proactive contact with the full book of business in addition to reactive service Conduct policy reviews and check-ins to ensure coverage remains aligned with client needs Coordinate renewals, remarketing, rewrites, and reinstatements in collaboration with internal support staff Partner with the Client Support Team to deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience 3. Internal Sales & Account Expansion Identify and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts Educate clients on additional coverage solutions that improve protection and reduce risk Approach account expansion with energy, curiosity, and a consultative sales mindset Track follow-ups and opportunities to ensure no client or opportunity falls through the cracks 4. Organization, Time & Pipeline Management Own your calendar to ensure maximum impact + consistent client outreach and follow-through Balance service work, proactive outreach, and sales activity effectively Maintain accurate documentation and activity tracking within agency systems What Success Looks Like Clients feel known, supported, and proactively advised High retention across the book of business Measurable growth in revenue from existing clients Strong internal partnerships with producers and support staff Consistent, disciplined client communication Required Qualifications . Personal Lines Insurance Specialist (required) Property & Casualty insurance license (required) 4-5 years of experience in a licensed insurance role (account management, internal sales, or similar) Demonstrated success expanding revenue within existing accounts Strong sales drive with the discipline to follow through consistently Exceptional organization, time management, and calendar ownership Confidence engaging clients and initiating conversations about additional coverage Strong written and verbal communication skills Bilingual English / Spanish (a must) Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Preferred Insurance Markets Life & Health insurance license Experience working in an independent insurance agency Familiarity with agency management systems and carrier portals Interest in future growth into a producer or business development role What We Offer Ongoing training and professional development in a family-oriented environment A creative, collaborative workplace where contributions are valued Stability and long-term growth opportunities within a close-knit team Competitive compensation with incentive opportunities tied to performance Flexibility, recognition, and a culture built on trust and accountability
