40.0 Responsibilities Own and execute a comprehensive territory and strategic account business plan across IDNs, hospitals, and ASCs to achieve revenue, growth, and profitability targets. Drive revenue growth, contract execution, and account expansion through full sales lifecycle ownership. Conduct regular business reviews with key customers to assess performance, value realization, and future growth opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with executive stakeholders, pharmacy buyers, supply chain leaders, and decision makers across IDNs, hospitals, and ASCs. Manage distributor relationships and ensure contract compliance and effective account execution. Identify, penetrate, and expand key accounts using cold outreach and stakeholder mapping. Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM activity; manage and qualify opportunities to support leadership visibility and business planning. Conduct outreach to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and deliver revenue growth beyond retention. Support RFPs, GPO-driven initiatives, and customer requests by coordinating internal resources to resolve issues in a timely manner. Provide field-based market and competitive intelligence to inform pricing, portfolio, and go-to-market decisions. Travel 60-75% (Mon-Thurs travel, Friday admin) and be hands-on in the field to maintain strong customer presence. Requirements 2-5 years of sales experience calling on hospitals, IDNs, and ASCs. Generic pharmaceutical or injectable sales experience (strong preference). Experience selling into hospital pharmacy and supply chain (not physician offices). Knowledge of GPOs (Vizient, Premier, HPG), wholesalers, and IDN structures. Experience with hospital contracting and pricing-driven sales. Ability to manage full sales cycle: pipeline, contracting, execution. Willingness to travel 60-75% (Mon-Thurs travel, Friday admin). Based in territory near major metro/airport (no relocation). Strong understanding of hospital buying process and stakeholders. Salesforce or CRM pipeline management experience. Ability to identify and penetrate key accounts (cold outreach, stakeholder mapping). Anesthesia product experience (gases or equipment) is a plus. Bachelor degree with 5 to 10 years of experience generic pharmaceutical selling into health systems, hospital and ASCs. Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting to support company revenue and expense objectives. Knowledge of CRM (Sales Force) and opportunity pipeline management process. Knowledge of pharmaceutical/anesthesia/device industry, including contracts, pricing, and competition. Understanding of GPO, IDNs, and the acute/non-acute environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional demeanor with internal and external customers. Creative and able to present various solutions; energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational. Maintain confidentiality.
