Location:
ONSITE at a Medical Facility in
Royal Oaks MI Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Hybrid with weekends as needed for coverage Due to the nature of this position and healthcare setting, up to date immunizations are required. The goal of the Team Leader - Eligibility & Enrollment is to lead staff who are either in office, on-site at a hospital or working from home. The Supervisor will be responsible to ensure inventory management is maintained at acceptable levels, best practices are implemented and followed, and expenses and revenue are maintained to budget.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the daily operations of the Department. Coordinate account inventories, produce daily/weekly reports, and oversee inventory reconciliations. Develop and deliver staff training programs. Keep records of staff time and attendance. Manage employee responsibilities during absences or high workloads. Schedule overtime when necessary to accommodate increased workloads. Evaluate and attain departmental objectives. Monitor performance metrics. Attend client meetings, offer updates and account reports, and nurture client relationships. Implement quality assurance measures, including auditing accounts and evaluating employee productivity. Abide by established policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook and the Employee Code of Conduct Stay informed about and actively engage in the Corporate Compliance Program. Provide onsite coverage as needed. Assist with additional projects as assigned by management. Expected/Key Results Meet customer experience metrics Meet revenue targets Meet retention target for team Manage customer escalations Meet quality scores Coaching and mentoring Ensuring Resource availability as per the schedule requirement Build new client relationships and sustaining existing client relationships Achieve Employee Satisfaction scores Preferred Educational Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required Preferred Work Experience 3-5 years' experience of medical coding, medical billing, eligibility (hospital or government) or other pertinent medical experience is preferred. Prior supervisory experience is preferred Competencies & Skills Capability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues, team members, and clients. Consistently project a professional and courteous image. Possess proficient PC skills, including a typing speed of 30-40 words per minute. Display proactive and creative approaches in fulfilling job duties. Exhibit outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Skillful at prioritizing multiple tasks within a dynamic work setting.
