Job Description
Description We are looking for an Account Manager to support customer relationships for a plastics manufacturing organization in Greenville, South Carolina. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who enjoys partnering closely with clients, understanding business objectives, and delivering a dependable service experience. The person in this role will help strengthen long-term accounts by coordinating onboarding, guiding account activity, and working across teams to address customer needs effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers through consistent communication and proactive account support.
- Facilitate recurring business discussions to understand client priorities, review performance, and identify opportunities to improve partnership value.
- Represent the voice of the customer internally by sharing feedback, concerns, and expectations with cross-functional teams.
- Manage the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring account setup is completed accurately and users receive the guidance needed to get started successfully.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve account issues, support service delivery, and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Track account activity, customer interactions, and follow-up actions within CRM and related business systems.
- Use SAP and customer management tools to monitor account details, maintain accurate records, and support day-to-day account operations. Requirements
- Previous experience in account management, customer success, or a similar client-facing role.
- Proven ability to build trust with customers and maintain strong detail-oriented relationships over time.
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms and customer account management processes.
- Experience using SAP or similar enterprise systems in a business environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams.
- Ability to lead customer onboarding activities and provide clear training or process guidance.
- Organized approach to managing account details, follow-up items, and customer experience priorities.
