Direct Hire Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Account Manager / Planner to support the day-to-day management of a growing product line. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and managing customer quotations, processing orders, coordinating shipments, maintaining customer communications, and ensuring on-time delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with customers and internal teams including production, purchasing, and shipping to ensure a seamless experience from quote through delivery. This is a hands-on, in-person role ideal for a self-driven individual who thrives in a manufacturing environment and takes ownership of customer satisfaction and operational execution. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Prepare and manage customer quotations Process customer orders accurately and efficiently Coordinate shipments to ensure on-time delivery Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communications Work closely with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to meet customer requirements Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to customers Maintain accurate customer and order information within ERP systems Support day-to-day account management activities for a growing product line Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage data, reporting, and customer information Deliver exceptional customer service while resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in customer service, account management, inside sales, order management, production planning, or a related role Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems Experience preparing customer quotations, entering orders, and tracking customer requirements Ability to coordinate shipping schedules and communicate effectively with customers and internal departments Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Professional, customer-focused attitude with strong problem-solving abilities Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment Experience supporting injection molded products or components Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams INDQSS1
