What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire an Account Manager. This position falls under our NAT line of business and located in Brentwood, TN. In this role, you will support day-to-day client needs by serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for customers through phone, chat, email, and other communication channels. You will focus on creating easy, reliable customer experience by proactively resolving issues, anticipating customer needs, supporting product usage, and helping drive client loyalty.
You will report directly to Senior Account Manager and regularly collaborate with Sales, Credit, Risk/Card Services, Card Management, IT Support, and other internal departments.

The responsibilities of the role will include: Supporting day-to-day client needs through phone, chat, email, and other communication channels while providing timely, professional, and reliable service.
Creating and maintaining client loyalty by delivering easy and consistent customer experience.
Proactively addressing and resolving customer issues and inquiries with a focus on one-person, one-call resolution.
Taking full ownership and accountability for customer concerns to ensure timely and effective resolution.
Proactively contacting clients who may be at risk of service disruptions and resolving needs before disruptions occur whenever possible.
Serving as a trusted advisor by helping customers activate, implement, and effectively use Corpay products and services.
Recommending best practices and product usage strategies that help customers maximize value from Corpay solutions.
Providing customer training by phone or web to support product implementation and educate new client users.
Researching and resolving customer inquiries related to invoices, cash applications, credit reconciliation, credit increases, write-offs, and other credit-related matters.
Adjusting account setup and product usage is needed to support the best possible client experience and value.
Acting as a single point of contact for customers by coordinating with internal departments such as Credit, Risk/Card Services, Card Management, IT Support, and other teams.
Researching and reporting patterns or trends that may affect customers, including system outages, technical issues, or recurring service concerns.
Collaborating with sales teams to identify account growth opportunities for additional Corpay products or services.
Managing multiple account management activities while maintaining strong attention to detail and customer focus.
Continuously improving individual performance and service delivery by applying client feedback and internal best practices. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED required; some college strongly preferred.
2 years in an office environment preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening, professional grammar, and clear, concise communication.
Ability to type at least 30 words per minute is strongly preferred. Prior experience in fleet client support, account management, customer service, or a related Corpay support role strongly preferred.
Ability to learn and understand Corpay products, services, systems, data, reporting, and processes.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes, ask effective questions, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Ability to anticipate internal and external customer needs and proactively address concerns.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to develop effective relationships with customers and internal partners.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures, prevent errors, and maintain accurate records.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and account management activities while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Sound judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to gather information, seek input, and make timely decisions.
Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented with the ability to support coverage needs and contribute to a positive work environment.
Demonstrated resilience and adaptability when handling difficult situations, change, or competing priorities.
Working knowledge of negotiation techniques preferred.
