Job Description

The Knoxville Smokies, Double-A Affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, are currently searching for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our organization as a Partnership Activation Manager.
Job Summary:
As the Partnership Activation Manager, you will assist the Corporate Sales Team with partner fulfillment and implementation. This position will be a point of contact for assigned corporate accounts. This person will play a crucial role in the success of all corporate partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Oversee activation of assigned corporate clients Oversee collection of activation material for assigned accounts Assist Corporate Sales Team in acquiring new business Create custom proposals for assigned sales executives Assist in the creation of custom solutions for client marketing needs Create annual reports and proof of performances for assigned corporate clients Assist with sales reports as needed Attend community and networking events Prepare and send regular communications between the Smokies and corporate partners Work directly with promotions, marketing, ticket sales, and community relations teams to fulfill all corporate partnership agreements Assist with nightly activation items such as booth outings Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
A qualified candidate must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Prior customer service experience preferred Strong organizational and follow up skills Excellent communication skills with ability to have effective and frequent dialog with prospects, clients and account managers Excellent oral, written and presentation skills Must be creative, detail oriented and highly motivated with a strong work ethic High level of energy with enthusiasm and passion to be successful in the sports industry Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
