This role is responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting dimensional inspection and measuring equipment solutions. Day-to-day tasks include responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotes and proposals, coordinating product demonstrations, and working closely with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and timely service delivery. The Account Manager will track account activity, monitor customer satisfaction, and maintain detailed records in CRM systems. This role also involves collaborating with manufacturers, attending industry events as needed, and providing feedback to leadership on market trends and customer needs. Qualifications Customer relationship management and account management skills, including the ability to build trust and maintain long-term partnerships. Sales, business development to identify opportunities, present solutions, and close opportunities. Basic technical aptitude and willingness to learn about dimensional inspection and measuring equipment, with the ability to explain product benefits in clear terms. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for working with customers, manufacturers, and internal teams. Organizational and time management skills, including proficiency with CRM software and standard office tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations). Ability to work on-site in Rowlett, TX, travel locally to customer locations as needed, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Prior experience in industrial equipment, manufacturing, metrology, or related technical fields is preferred but not required.
