Primary Responsibilities:

The Credentialing Lead Specialist initiates/coordinates daily credentialing activities for Kelsey-Seybold Clinic physicians/allied health professionals to meet clinic policies and state/accreditation regulations Lead Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for coordinating Credentialing Committee, Medical Staff new hire credentialing meetings, hospital privileges, liaison between Physician Services/staff and recommend credentialing processes You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience with focus in credentialing 4+ years of credentialing experience Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Word and Excel Knowledge of AAAHC, NCQA and TDI. Excellent organizational skills Excellent customer service Ability to handle multiple tasks Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision Capable of sitting for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification, College Degree Managed care/hospital credentialing MD-Staff

• ability to create/produce credentialing reports Current and Valid Texas Driving License Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
