This position works with law firms to analyze the needs of their clients and our patients, and to coordinate appropriate medical care based on the recommendations of medical providers, within the constraints of the known automobile policy limits. You must have a strong desire to care for and help patients who find themselves in a challenging situation of being injured. We are a medical provider and a funding company that pays for all the care for these patients who most often cannot afford to get the care they need. It is important to us that every patient receives the treatment they need to recover and be able to get back to their normal life, and you will be entrusted and empowered to ensure they get this. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsibilities ◦ Communicating with patients, medical providers, and attorneys/paralegals ◦ Securing appointments for patients ◦ Preparing agreements for patients and medical providers ◦ Ensuring the appropriate documents are signed and filed ◦ Collecting medical bills and records ◦ Following HIPAA regulations in all communication Qualifications ◦ "High energy" and "action-oriented" and accountable ◦ Able to solve problems and provide solutions to our patients and customers ◦ Understands how to work within a team environment ◦ Has a very pleasant phone demeanor ◦ Highly organized ◦ Detail-oriented ◦ Excellent oral and written communication skills ◦ Proficient in Word, Excel, Acrobat ◦ Computer proficient Bilingual in Spanish is a must
