Job Description

At True North Recovery & Wellness Center , we believe lasting change happens when people are treated with dignity, compassion, accountability, and respect. We are a growing treatment organization specializing in opioid use disorder, and our team works every day to help patients take meaningful steps toward recovery. Why You'll Love This Job Make a real difference — Your work helps connect people with treatment and support when they need it most. Work with a great team — You'll be surrounded by people who support each other, communicate, work hard, and have fun along the way. Never stop learning — You'll learn about healthcare, addiction treatment, patient care, and the many moving parts of a growing treatment organization. Grow with us — We are a growing company with opportunities to take on new responsibilities, develop your skills, and advance your career. Enjoy a great schedule — Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-1:00 PM, with your afternoons free. This is much more than a typical front-desk position. As a Client Coordinator , you'll be an important part of the treatment team and one of the first people our patients interact with when they walk through our doors. You'll work closely with counselors, medical providers, nursing staff, administration, and other members of the treatment team to help make sure patients receive the care, information, and support they need. If you are dependable, positive, organized, compassionate, and enjoy being part of a team, this could be a great opportunity to build a career with a growing company. What You'll Do As a Client Coordinator, you will help keep the front office running smoothly while serving as an important connection between patients and the rest of the treatment team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Welcome patients and visitors with a friendly, professional, and compassionate attitude. Serve as a key point of contact between patients and counselors, medical providers, nursing staff, and administration . Schedule appointments with medical providers, counselors, therapists, and other members of the treatment team. Help new patients complete intake paperwork and begin the treatment process. Enter and maintain accurate patient information in the electronic health record. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient questions and concerns. Make outgoing calls to patients and, when appropriate, family members or other involved parties. Collect and accurately enter patient payments. Assist patients with questions regarding balances, payment arrangements, and insurance billing processes. Coordinate and assist with drug-screening procedures. Maintain organized patient records and assist with chart management. Help coordinate patient needs with the appropriate member of the treatment team. Assist with patient referrals and connecting individuals with appropriate services. Participate in community outreach and relationship-building activities that help connect people with treatment resources. Help patients and visitors feel comfortable, respected, and cared for while they are at the facility. Identify problems, find solutions, and ask for help when needed. Support your teammates and contribute wherever you're needed to keep the clinic running smoothly. Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times. Follow company policies, procedures, and applicable healthcare requirements. What We're Looking For You don't have to know everything on day one. We can teach the right person the job. We are looking for someone who is: Positive and personable Compassionate and respectful Dependable and punctual Motivated and willing to work hard A strong team player Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Organized and able to multitask A quick learner Comfortable communicating with a wide variety of people Able to maintain appropriate professional boundaries Comfortable having difficult conversations while remaining respectful and professional Teachable and open to feedback Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality Comfortable using computers and learning new software Someone who takes ownership and looks for solutions rather than waiting for someone else to fix a problem Someone who genuinely wants to make a positive difference in the community Experience Preferred, but not required: Experience working with customer-service Experience working in a medical or behavioral-health setting Experience working with insurance billing or patient payments Experience in substance use treatment or another healthcare environment We are willing to train the right person.
