In this role you will work very closely with the Sales Executives as well as the technical teams to support our existing clients. As an account manager you will need to be very knowledgeable of the Voonami offerings and understand how they solve business problems. The Account Manager identifies, qualifies, and closes new opportunities with the existing clients. A qualified candidate must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients. Duties and Responsibilities Account Managers are the key point of contact for Voonami clients. They are responsible for identifying new opportunities with existing clients, developing solutions, and closing deals. The duties and responsibilities include; Meet company sales quotas Attend or conduct Technology Business Reviews with managed accounts as needed Attend any daily, weekly, and/or monthly meetings with Sales Manager and/or Executive Team Resolve critical issues with any client relationships Participate in ongoing strategy meetings Attend Company sponsored industry, charity, or educational events Keep up to date on industry related news and technology Update all activities, time sheets, and sales processes Update opportunities and sales funnel daily Develop relationships with clients and prospects Maintain relationships with current and new clients Maintain technology and selling skills as industry changes Attend all necessary company sponsored or third party sponsored training events Attend relevant project meetings Design and/or present proposals, presentations, and necessary agreements for prospects and clients Create proposal, presentation and needed diagrams for prospects or client presentations Assist in any past due collections needed for clients Knowledge, Skills and Abilities A Voonami Account Manager has the following knowledge, skills and abilities: Ability to perform public speaking and presentations on Voonami products and services Interpersonal skills, such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer-care. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environment Ability to keep up on necessary ongoing industry related training Ability to create sales and marketing tracks Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a customer service and/or sales background in a technology industry, be self-motivated, hard working, and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization. Qualifications include; Work history in an IT solutions environment 2 to 5 years relevant experience in a sales role Prior experience using CRM software tools and reporting Experience and familiarity with the Voonami line of business Ability to travel throughout sales territory Technical background in data center facilities, desktop, servers, networking a huge plus B.S. or B.A. strongly preferred.
