Job Description

A growing manufacturing company in Moorefield, WV is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations for its manufacturing facility and U.S. sales office. This office-based position is responsible for managing accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring
U.S. GAAP
compliance, and supporting reporting and audit activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage accounting and bookkeeping activities for the U.S. plant and sales office Maintain accurate general ledger, sales ledger, purchase ledger, and banking records Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting standards Oversee inventory, stock control, capital expenditures, and fixed asset accounting Prepare balance sheet (B/S) and profit & loss (P&L) reports accurately and on schedule Support annual reporting, audits, and financial deadlines Assist with cash flow management and tax-related activities Coordinate communication with auditors, tax advisors, government agencies, and other local partners
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role within a manufacturing environment Experience preparing financial reports, including balance sheets and P&L statements Strong understanding of tax requirements, compliance, and financial regulations Hands-on, self-managed approach with the ability to work independently Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Team-oriented with an open-minded and collaborative mindset Apply today to learn more about this excellent opportunity!
