A growing provider of industrial automation, process control, instrumentation, and valve automation solutions is seeking an Account Manager to drive business development and market expansion throughout Eastern Idaho and Montana. This is an opportunity to join a respected technical sales organization serving industrial facilities, engineering firms, OEMs, contractors, and end users across mining, manufacturing, power generation, food processing, energy, water/wastewater, and industrial processing markets. Supported by an experienced engineering and technical team, you'll help customers improve reliability, efficiency, safety, and operational performance through engineered automation and process control solutions. Due to continued growth and expansion, the organization is investing heavily in this territory and is seeking a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, solving technical challenges, and creating long-term customer partnerships.

$150,000+ Uncapped Commission Structure Relocation Assistance Available Comprehensive Benefits Package Strong Technical Support Team Long-Term Career Growth What You'll Do Develop relationships with industrial end users, contractors, OEMs, and engineering firms Identify opportunities for valve automation, instrumentation, and process control solutions Grow existing accounts while developing new business Conduct customer visits, plant assessments, and technical presentations Collaborate with engineering and service teams to develop solutions Prepare proposals, quotations, and project recommendations Support project implementation and customer success Become a trusted technical resource within the territory What We're Looking For Experience in industrial sales, automation sales, instrumentation sales, process controls, fluid power, or related technical markets Proven ability to grow customer relationships and generate new business Experience selling into manufacturing, mining, power generation, energy, water/wastewater, or industrial processing environments Strong consultative selling and communication skills Ability to independently manage a geographic territory Technical Knowledge Preferred Candidates should possess a working understanding of industrial valve technologies and automation solutions. Valve Experience Working knowledge of one or more of the following: Ball Valves Butterfly Valves Gate Valves Globe Valves Check Valves Knife Gate Valves Plug Valves Control Valves Pressure Relief & Safety Valves Diaphragm Valves Severe Service Valves Actuation & Automation Experience Familiarity with: Pneumatic Actuators Electric Actuators Hydraulic Actuators Electro-Hydraulic Systems Manual Gear Operators Quarter-Turn & Multi-Turn Actuation Solenoids Positioners Limit Switches Valve Monitoring Systems Digital Valve Controllers Candidates do not need expertise in every category but should understand how automated valve and process control solutions are applied within industrial facilities. Ideal Backgrounds We are particularly interested in candidates from: Industrial Automation Process Controls Instrumentation Valve Automation Flow Control Fluid Power Motion Control Industrial Distribution Engineered Equipment Sales Experience with automation distributors, process control integrators, instrumentation suppliers, Emerson Impact Partners, or manufacturers of valves, actuators, instrumentation, and flow control equipment is highly desirable.
