Full-Time Growth Opportunity Pay:
$22-$25/hour + commission + monthly performance bonuses Lumai is a luxury Pilates, yoga, and healing studio in Scottsdale offering reformer Pilates, heated yoga, mat Pilates, sound healing, breathwork, massage, acupuncture, and community-based wellness events. We are looking for a highly motivated, sales-driven, organized, and warm Studio Sales & Operations Manager to help us grow memberships, improve the client experience, and support the day-to-day operations of the studio. This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-end boutique wellness studio in its early growth stage and help build something meaningful from the ground up. The right person is confident with sales, comfortable leading people, strong with follow-up, and passionate about creating a beautiful client experience Primary ResponsibilitiesSales & Membership Growth The main focus of this role is driving revenue through memberships, class packs, private sessions, and events. This person will be responsible for following up with leads, converting first-time clients, calling/texting prospects, re-engaging past clients, and helping create monthly sales goals.
Responsibilities include:
Sell Wellness, Reformer, and VIP memberships Follow up with first-time clients after class Contact leads from Mindbody, ClassPass, Instagram, events, referrals, and walk-ins Create urgency around promotions and membership offers Track daily and weekly sales activity Help convert ClassPass/drop-in clients into Lumai members Support private Pilates, massage, acupuncture, breathwork, and event sales Build relationships with clients so they feel seen, known, and invited back Studio Operations This person will help make sure the studio feels polished, clean, organized, and luxury-level at all times.
Responsibilities include:
Open and/or close the studio as needed Make sure the front desk is warm, welcoming, and professional Ensure rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for class Monitor towels, laundry, water, retail, props, bathrooms, patio, and common areas Help manage Mindbody bookings, check-ins, purchases, and client accounts Handle basic client questions, membership issues, and service recovery Make sure the Lumai brand experience feels elevated and consistent Instructor & Schedule Support This role should help you create accountability without making you the only person managing everyone.
Responsibilities include:
Track class attendance and fill rates Identify low-performing class times Communicate with instructors about client experience, attendance, and expectations Help coordinate subs when needed Support instructor communication and studio standards Help ensure instructors are greeting clients, learning names, and promoting memberships/events Report weekly on which classes, instructors, and times are performing best Marketing & Community Support This person does not need to be your full marketing person, but they should support sales-driven marketing.
Responsibilities include:
Help promote events, workshops, and memberships in studio Capture basic social media content when needed Encourage clients to post, tag Lumai, and leave reviews Help with local partnerships, pop-ups, and referral opportunities Support community-building moments inside the studio Ideal Candidate The right person is: Sales-driven but still warm and heart-centered Confident talking about memberships and pricing Organized and able to follow through Comfortable calling, texting, and following up with leads Positive, polished, and professional Passionate about wellness, Pilates, yoga, healing, and community Able to hold staff accountable in a kind but direct way Comfortable working in a startup environment Excited to help grow Lumai into a profitable, thriving studio Required Experience Sales experience required Boutique fitness, wellness, spa, hospitality, or luxury retail experience preferred Mindbody experience preferred but not required Management or team lead experience preferred Strong communication skills required
