This is flexible, event-based work with no guaranteed weekly hours. Most opportunities take place on weekends and evenings. As an Event Team Lead, you will help prepare for events, organize supplies, guide one or more event helpers, follow instructions provided by our office, and make sure each event runs smoothly from setup through cleanup.

Responsibilities include:

Help prepare and organize supplies before events Lead and guide event helpers Follow event instructions, checklists, and company procedures Help set up and organize the snack bar before service Maintain a clean, organized, and professional station Provide friendly customer service Work efficiently and solve basic problems during events Help with breakdown, packing, and cleanup after the event Return to the designated preparation/cleaning area when required We're looking for someone who is: Reliable and punctual Organized and able to work quickly Comfortable leading a small team Good at following written instructions Responsible and able to think independently Friendly and professional with guests Able to lift at least 45 lbs Able to reliably get to required work locations Available for flexible schedules, especially weekends and evenings A valid Food Handler Certificate is required for food-service duties. If you do not currently have one, we can help guide you through the process of obtaining it. Experience in events, catering, food service, hospitality, or leadership is helpful, but not required. We value reliability, organization, communication, and the ability to follow our system correctly. Performance bonuses may be available for Team Leads who consistently demonstrate strong leadership, reliability, cleanliness, organization, and excellent event execution. Manna Snack Bars provides interactive snack bar experiences for parties, weddings, schools, businesses, and special events throughout the Bakersfield area.

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 10.0 per week
