Job Description
O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable Insurance Agency to find their next Insurance Marketing Representative. This position is based in Redding, CA. The ideal candidate will be energetic, personable, and motivated, with strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone. This individual will be comfortable making outbound calls, handling objections, and generating qualified leads while working toward a long-term career in the insurance industry.
Insurance Marketing Representative Compensation:
- $17.00 per hour
- Bonus for qualified transfers
- Bonus for policies written
- Vision, dental, and medical insurance offered through O2
- Career path to becoming a Licensed Insurance Producer, including licensing assistance provided by the company
Insurance Marketing Representative Qualifications:
- Previous customer service, sales, telemarketing, call center, or appointment-setting experience preferred
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to handle rejection and remain professional and persistent
- Reliable, coachable, and goal-oriented
- Interest in pursuing a career in the insurance industry preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Insurance Marketing Representative Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers throughout California using targeted lead lists
- Build rapport with potential clients and identify insurance needs
- Generate interest in insurance products and services
- Transfer qualified prospects to licensed insurance agents for quotes and policy discussions
- Maintain accurate records of calls and prospect interactions
- Meet daily and weekly activity goals
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally
