Job Description

C. Mariani Antiques, Restoration & Custom is seeking a full-time Gallery Manager. You will be surrounded daily by beautiful museum quality pieces in our expansive gallery in the SOMA district and work in an environment where you will be engaged with a continuous flow of activity. We are in search of a polished, well-dressed and dependable candidate. Duties include reception and front desk management, shipping and delivery management, and administrative assistance and sales. Experience with a multi-line phone system, maintaining inventory, social media and website management a plus. The front desk is the hub of all our communications and our friendly and close-knit team will directly rely on you for administrative support.
Primary Duties include:
Answer Phone/Door/Loading Dock Greet Clients and make them feel welcome Screen walk-in customers/Monitor the gallery floor as clients browse Prepare Gallery Space for client visits/meetings Assist in maintaining beauty of gallery space Schedule delivery and pickup of furniture with clients Managing the two drivers with their daily duties Update Filemaker Inventory and Contact Database Assist with general administrative support for all managers as needed Assist with sales and marketing activities such as prospecting via phone calls and web research Assist with marketing/client events as necessary Additional Duties Training on Photoshop and assistance in cleaning up and enhancing inventory photos Posting and maintenance of inventory photos and descriptions to company website and social media Qualities Punctual and at your desk ready-to-begin the day at 8:30 AM Dependable and Flexible Positive and Upbeat Attitude Professional Appearance (Dressed business casual) Team Player Mentality Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills, on the phone and in person Ability to multitask Ideal Antiques or Interior Design Industry experience a plus, but not necessary Antiques Sales experience a plus, but not necessary Photography and Social Media experience a plus, but not necessary Competency in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite & Mac computers Interest in the marketing side of the business Experience with Photoshop, but not necessary Experience with Filemaker, but not necessary

$75,000.00 per year
