About The Lillie The Lillie is a needlepoint and mahjong store in Summerland, CA. We offer a curated selection of canvases, fibers, mahjong sets, and accessories alongside a warm, welcoming experience for our community of makers and players. About the Role We're actively hiring a part-time Shop Associate — and we're open to full-time for the right person. You'll help customers, share product knowledge, and keep the shop inviting and well-organized. This is an on-site role in Summerland with flexible scheduling we can work out together. What You'll Do Greet and assist customers, offering guidance on needlepoint canvases, fibers, and mahjong sets. Process sales on the point-of-sale system. Restock, organize, and merchandise products to keep the store beautiful. Support classes, events, and special orders as needed. What We're Looking For Friendly, reliable, and genuinely good with people. Needlepoint experience and a real interest in the craft are our ideal — this is highly preferred and exactly the background we're hoping to find. It's not strictly required, but a candidate who knows and loves needlepoint will stand out. Familiarity with mahjong is a wonderful plus. Comfortable with retail point-of-sale and light physical tasks like restocking. Compensation $20-24 per hour, depending on experience.
