SCOPE / POSITION OVERVIEW
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support for the overall marketing of Club and community. This position works closely with the GM, Ownership Group and department heads to help establish and execute the optimum marketing communication and programs for TPC Colorado and the Heron Lake Community.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Championship Coordinator is responsible for managing tournament services at the TPC Colorado Championship. The services include marketing and communications, event management, hospitality and sponsor activation, ticket/credential administration, management of volunteers, food and beverage, player and caddie amenities, charitable platform and tournament office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide administrative support to the GM, Owner Group and department heads, which includes: Creating digital and written collateral to promote events. Creating social media content for Club and Community Serve as greeting concierge to help field Club/community questions Designing general marketing materials on behalf of the Club and Community
  • Oversee and coordinate hosting of member/public website including ensuring adoption of brand and marketing, standards, staff training and implementation.
  • Coordinate with other operating departments and other external vendors on the development, design, and coordination of membership and prospect communications such as e-mail communications, e-newsletters, and program campaigns, etc.
  • Oversee daily coordination, maintenance and regular updates of all member/client and prospect databases and files.
  • Respond to all member/client inquiries in a timely manner and work with management and other club departments to identify research and resolve issues.
  • Provide a high level of service to foster strong relationships with members, resident, non‐members, owners, and potential members.
  • Ability to provide accurate information for publication on TPC, Heron Lakes, and Metro District websites.
  • Maintain promotional material, media files (electronic and print, emails, video, etc.), press clippings, and photos.
  • Update, organize and maintain accurate information between all websites.
  • Update all social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Ownership Group
REQUIRED SKILLS
Thorough knowledge of general business, marketing and sales procedures as would normally be acquired through a formal secondary education, a college degree preferred. Thorough knowledge of social media, web design and excellent written skills. Must be proficient in Windows based word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, and design software packages. Proficiency in e-mail communication system and cellular telephones required. Must possess excellent customer service and organizational skills. Must be energetic, sociable, and able to follow through on task completion. Ability to use logical or rational thinking to solve problems. A high level of individual initiative and creativity. Attention to detail, high standards, and a passion for accuracy, especially error‐free data entry and writing. The ability to maintain strict confidentiality of membership information. Ability to provide effective written and verbal instructions as well as the ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions without close, daily direction. Ability to perform light physical work, may be required to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds, up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 5 pounds constantly while performing such activities as bending, reaching, standing, walking, lifting and grasping.
