Golf Proshop Associate

Overview Lake Waramaug Country Club is seeking a friendly, reliable, and service-oriented Pro Shop Associate to join our golf operations team. This role is an important touchpoint for members and guests, providing exceptional customer service while supporting the daily operations of the golf shop and overall club experience. Experience Required Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or golf course experience preferred Basic knowledge of golf and golf terminology is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Comfortable using POS systems and reservation software Flexible availability to work weekends and holidays during season Essential Responsibilities Greet and assist members and guests in a professional, welcoming manner Check in golfers and manage tee times Process retail sales transactions using the point-of-sale system Handle merchandise sales including apparel, accessories, and golf equipment Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and general inquiries Maintain a clean, organized, and well-merchandised pro shop environment Assist with tournament operations and daily play coordination when asked Provide information on club policies, course conditions, and events Support inventory management, restocking, and merchandising displays Work collaboratively with golf professionals and club staff Benefits Golfing privileges Staff uniform provided Employee discounts in the Pro Shop Discounted meals in the Club restaurant
