POSITION SUMMARY
The Commercial Lines Marketing Coordinator supports the day-to-day marketing and underwriting-support function for Fortitude Insurance Solutions, with primary emphasis on the agency's commercial trucking and transportation book. Working within the standards and workflows set by the Director of Marketing, this role prepares and quotes submissions, keeps data accurate and current across AMS360 and InsuredMine, and helps keep the marketing pipeline moving cleanly and on time. The Coordinator is a detail-driven team member who takes pride in the accuracy of their own work, flags issues and inefficiencies to the Director, and is a reliable day-to-day resource to producers and assistants on submission requirements.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare clean, complete submissions to the standard set by the Director — updated loss runs, MVRs for all drivers, current vehicle/driver lists — and review work for accuracy before it goes out.
- Quote submissions across GEICO, Progressive, Berkshire, CoverWhale, Star Mutual RRG, and other raters; check output accuracy and flag when a submission doesn't fit current carrier appetite.
- Follow the InsuredMine standards set for the team — create underwriting follow-up tasks, tag notes on quotes and indications, and enter underwriting notes consistently so records stay clean.
- Keep deal-card records accurate in InsuredMine (bound vs. lost, tied to expiration date and premium bound) and surface pipeline gaps to the Director.
- Compile the data for weekly production reporting — submission counts, call activity, and premium bound — and hand it to the Director for review and presentation to leadership.
- Keep the post-bind suspense process current in AMS360 (policy, binder, invoice) and follow it consistently.
- Support the renewal submission pipeline: coordinate with account management on outstanding renewals and request supplemental applications and additional information from underwriters as directed.
- Assist producers and the team with Premium Finance contract questions and follow the established process.
- Follow AMS360 activity-logging standards for bind requests, policies, and binders so documentation stays audit-ready and consistent with E&O best practices.
- Be a reliable day-to-day resource to producers and assistants on current carrier requirements and submission-quality expectations, so submissions come in clean the first time.
PROCESS SUPPORT & GROWTH
- Help train and support Marketing Assistants on workflows and answer their day-to-day questions.
- Identify recurring bottlenecks or errors in the workflow and bring recommended fixes to the Director.
- Help maintain marketing-related SOPs so documentation reflects current carrier and system requirements.
- Monitor carrier appetite changes, rate trends, and program updates in our core trucking/transportation markets, and flag notable shifts or opportunities to the Director.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-2+ years of experience in insurance marketing, CSR, or underwriting support; commercial trucking/transportation lines a plus.
- Working knowledge of AMS360, InsuredMine, and carrier rating platforms (or comparable AMS/CRM and rating tools), or the ability to learn them quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the accuracy of your own work.
- Clear, direct communication — comfortable corresponding with underwriters, carrier reps, and internal team members.
- A collaborative, growth-minded attitude and readiness to take on more responsibility over time.
