Event Decorator

Event Decorator (Part-Time, Flexible) Mugwump Productions | Sight & Sound Event Productions is seeking creative, detail-oriented individuals to join our event décor team. This role is ideal for anyone looking for flexible, hands-on work in the events industry. Things to Know This is an as-needed, part-time position. Hours vary week to week based on event load, including setup and strike needs Flexible scheduling: shifts are posted through our scheduling software. You may accept or decline shifts. This role does not offer a consistent weekly schedule Occasional travel is required for select events (typically a few times per year, up to one week at a time) What's In It for You $25-$30 per hour 4-hour shift minimums Team-focused, collaborative work environment Opportunity to develop skills and grow within the company Hands-on experience in large-scale event production and design What You'll Be Doing Assist with the setup and strike (tear-down) of large-scale themed décor for corporate and social events Install and style décor elements including centerpieces, linens, drape, and soft goods Set specialized drape treatments, facades, and other event equipment within scheduled timelines Follow design plans while contributing to on-site creative execution Maintain an organized, efficient, and visually polished event environment What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and an eye for design Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift and move event equipment (physically active role) Positive, team-oriented attitude Availability for evenings and weekends Experience & Requirements Valid driver's license required Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed Must be comfortable working in a team and collaborating on-site Diversity & Inclusion We are an inclusive company committed to attracting, developing, and promoting diverse talent.
