Job Description

Position Overview The Marketing & Membership Coordinator (MMC) plays a key role in supporting Florida Hospice & Palliative Care Association's communications, membership services, and organizational operations. This position manages digital platforms, supports educational and event initiatives, and provides administrative assistance across multiple departments, ensuring a high level of service to members, consumers, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Marketing & Communications Manage and update all FHPCA websites. Produce and distribute two monthly e?newsletters. Support in?house graphic design and branding needs. Assist with marketing efforts for education?related events. Membership & Customer Support Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming phone calls and deliveries. Respond to consumer and member inquiries. Process Affiliate Membership renewals. Maintain member records across platforms such as MailChimp, Higher Logic, and other external services. Provide transactional support for the sale and distribution of Vet Pins and other routine mailing/shipping projects. Education & Events Support Assist the Director of Education & Events (DEE) with tasks related to Forum planning and execution. Support database management and event?related administrative duties. Perform assigned responsibilities during Forum. Office Support Respond to incoming phone calls, voicemails, and emails in a timely and professional manner. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages. Assist with mailings and perform additional administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications Experience in marketing, communications, membership services, or administrative support. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of website updates and maintenance. Proficiency with digital platforms (e.g., MailChimp, Meta, Word Press, Canva). Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Customer?service oriented with strong organizational skills.
