Job Description

SALES POSITION - BASE SALARY + RESIDUAL COMMISSION.
Sapphire Clean is a Commercial Cleaning company with a focus on providing Contractual Cleaning Services to our customers (Commercial Only). Some of our clients include restaurants, theaters, hotels, office buildings, hospitals, and condominiums. As a Business Development , your primary focus will be selling our full-service to Commercial End-users and be a vital part of our dynamic team, driving revenue growth and building lasting relationships with clients.
Assigned Area:
South Florida, up to Jupiter/Port St. Lucie area. Potentially West Coast of Florida (Naples and Fort Myers) and Central Florida (Orlando)
  • Experience in management in the hospitality industry is a plus. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Driving to facilities of prospective customers and delivering information about our company to key decision makers. The Representative would converse with the prospective client and collect information on the potential account. The Representative would then document the information from the visit for use in future correspondence with the potential client
  • Reviewing and assessing properties to provide quotes/bids.
  • Field work (door to door) is expected to be perform at least 4 days per week, and does not include previously set appointments, but it can be interwind/combined for the purpose of a better time management and logistics.
  • Preparing proposals and service contracts and other documents for current and potential customers.
  • Researching the market and following up on leads and open deals, using the different means available (networking, internet, emails, cold calling, social media etc.)
  • Explaining the services that the Company offers to potential customers.
  • Using a consultative sales approach to educate, solve problems, and sell the services that fit the client's need.
  • Close a deal by identifying the hooks, finding the objections, and overcoming them.
  • Maintain up to date, detailed records for all prospects customers, and all sales related activities.
  • Meet or exceed sales quota by implementing a consistent sales cycle, setting up face-to-face meetings and participating in professional associations.
  • Implement a marketing strategy where you will identify and target clients that are or will be in need of cleaning services.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in commercial business development, marketing, or sales of similar maintenance and support services.
  • Strong Commercial Book of Business.
  • Track record of commercial outside sales.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
  • Possess reliable transportation and hold a valid driver license at all times
  • Comfortable initiating conversations
  • Good with written and verbal communication
  • Organized with information and materials.
  • Excellent in attendance
  • Possess a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team and/or under supervision.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office and CMR data bases.
  • Be well-spoken, well-groomed, and professional.
COMPENSATION
Pay:
$50,000 - $110,000+ This position offers a solid base salary of $50,000/year, plus 4% residual commission on contractual services sold and an additional $500 for car allowance.

SCHEDULE
Mondays thru Fridays. We offer 401k plan and paid vacation after the first year.
  • Due to the nature of services, the business development must always be ON CALL and reachable after regular business hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • All salaried employees are expected to fulfill a minimum of 40 combined hours of work per week (combined hours include field work and office work).
