Base Salary + Commission About Us The Winnebago County Tribune is the trusted local newspaper serving Forest City, Lake Mills, Buffalo Center and communities throughout Winnebago County. We help local businesses grow through effective print and digital advertising while keeping our communities informed. We're looking for an energetic, relationship-driven Marketing Consultant to help local businesses reach more customers through our print and digital advertising solutions. If you enjoy meeting people, building relationships and helping businesses succeed, this position offers outstanding earning potential and the opportunity to become a trusted marketing partner in your community. Responsibilities Build relationships with business owners throughout Winnebago County. Sell print advertising in the Winnebago County Tribune. Sell digital advertising, including website, social media and other online marketing opportunities. Meet with local businesses to understand their marketing goals and develop customized advertising plans. Prospect for new clients while maintaining and growing existing accounts. Work closely with our design and editorial teams to create successful advertising campaigns. Represent the newspaper professionally at community events and while visiting local businesses. Qualifications Sales, marketing or customer service experience is preferred, but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently. Organized with strong time management skills. Reliable transportation for travel throughout Winnebago County. Passion for supporting local businesses and strengthening the community.
