Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator supports the Marketing Department by helping execute promotions, events, social media, and guest communications that enhance the overall guest experience. This role coordinates marketing projects, maintains promotional materials and property signage, assists with community outreach, and helps ensure marketing initiatives are implemented accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, enjoys working with people, and is excited to learn and grow in a fast-paced casino environment. What You'll Do Assist with planning and executing casino promotions, entertainment, special events, and marketing campaigns. Coordinate marketing projects to ensure deadlines are met and information is communicated accurately. Create and schedule content for the property's social media platforms. Update content for digital signage, kiosks, casino displays, website, and other marketing channels. Coordinate the printing and distribution of marketing materials, promotional signage, coupons, and flyers with outside vendors. Maintain promotional materials and ensure that signage throughout the property is up to date, accurate, and visually appealing. Assist with community sponsorships, donations, and outreach initiatives. Support player events and promotional activities, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Respond to guest questions related to promotions and events while providing exceptional customer service. Work closely with departments throughout the property to ensure marketing initiatives are implemented successfully. Follow all gaming regulations, internal controls, and company policies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable using social media platforms and basic computer applications. Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn new systems and marketing processes. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, events, marketing, or administrative support is preferred but not required. Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram is preferred. Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Gaming License.
