Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Auction Crew Member and be at the heart of exciting auction events! In this energetic role, you will assist with the smooth operation of online auctions, ensuring an organized catalogue of seller items, assisting with the best outcome for both our sellers and buyers, while engaging a positive work environment for all participants. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable experiences for guests while maintaining protocols and providing exceptional customer service. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop skills in events management, guest relations, and venue operations within a lively, fast-paced setting. Duties Set up auction venues, including arranging items, signage, and equipment to ensure an attractive and organized presentation Assist with registration processes, including processing cash transactions and using POS systems to handle payments accurately Manage guest services by greeting attendees, providing information, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Support event logistics such as manual handling of auction items, heavy lifting, and outdoor work tasks in various weather conditions Facilitate smooth auction proceedings by assisting with item intake, cataloging, picking orders, shipping, and being a friendly face for all of our customers Experience Hands-on experience with manual handling, heavy lifting, and processing cash transactions using POS systems is preferred We offer hands on training Join us as an Auction Crew Member and become part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding auction experiences!
