In this role, you will develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns, foster meaningful relationships within the community, and serve as a vital link between our organization and the public. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead community outreach efforts, manage social media platforms, and coordinate events that inspire connection and growth. Duties Develop and execute comprehensive community outreach strategies to build lasting relationships with local organizations, stakeholders, and residents. Manage social media accounts by creating engaging content, scheduling posts, and analyzing performance metrics to maximize reach. Organize and promote community events, workshops, and public presentations that foster engagement and awareness. Cultivate media relations by preparing press releases, coordinating interviews, and maintaining positive relationships with local media outlets. Serve as a public speaker at community meetings, events, and outreach activities to effectively communicate organizational goals and initiatives. Oversee volunteer programs by recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to support various projects and events. Collect data on community engagement activities to evaluate success metrics and inform future planning. Coordinate with internal teams on project management tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and strategic planning for outreach campaigns. Maintain excellent client communication by addressing inquiries promptly while ensuring a positive experience for all community members. Develop marketing materials such as flyers, newsletters, and digital content that align with organizational branding standards. Experience Proven experience in community engagement or outreach roles with a track record of successful project management. Strong background in marketing strategies including social media marketing, public relations, and community management. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to deliver compelling public presentations for community outreach efforts. Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with diverse stakeholders through relationship management techniques. Experience in media relations—crafting press releases, managing media inquiries—and public speaking engagements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentation purposes. Bilingual skills are highly desirable to effectively engage with diverse communities. Organizational skills necessary for event planning, volunteer management, data collection, fundraising activities, and strategic planning. Knowledge of customer service principles to ensure positive interactions within the community setting. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail within budget constraints.
