Job Description

The Associate Director of Annual Giving & Strategic Events serves as a key execution leader within the YMCA of Greater Louisville's Financial Development team, supporting association-wide Annual Giving efforts through branch engagement, campaign activation, strategic fundraising events, and sponsorship growth. This position maintains a shared portfolio of assigned branches alongside the Director of Annual Giving & Stewardship and works collaboratively to support execution of Annual Giving strategies, branch engagement, donor cultivation and solicitation, sponsorship growth, and fundraising momentum across the association.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, annual giving, donor engagement, or related field. Comfortable making direct asks and engaging donors in conversations about giving and impact Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with a donor-centered approach Demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment Experience with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Raiser's Edge or CRM systems preferred Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends during campaign and event seasons Self-starter with initiative, curiosity, and a passion for the YMCA's mission
