Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Pro Shop Attendant, where you'll be the friendly face and vital support at our vibrant sports and recreation facility. In this role, you'll deliver exceptional guest experiences by managing retail sales, assisting with event operations, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create memorable moments for visitors of all ages, whether they're enjoying a round of golf, participating in a tournament, or celebrating special events. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a lively outdoor environment while honing your customer service and event management skills. This position is Part-time, seasonal through Mid-November. Candidate MUST be available weekends and nights. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience at the pro shop and event venues Manage retail sales by processing cash transactions, operating POS systems, and maintaining accurate cash handling procedures Assist in organizing and coordinating events, tournaments, and special activities to ensure smooth operations Support guest needs by providing information about facilities, upcoming events, and available merchandise Enforce safety protocols including manual handling procedures, safety protocol adherence, and emergency response readiness when necessary Handle conflict management with professionalism to resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively Support outdoor work activities, manual handling of Golf Carts or supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of the outdoor areas Requirements Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or hospitality environments; experience working with children or in resort settings is a plus Candidate MUST be at least 18 Years Old Knowledge of event venue operations and experience managing or supporting events or tournaments Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely. Strong communication skills for guest interactions Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for processing transactions accurately Experience in conflict management and guest services to handle diverse situations professionally Previous experience in the Golf industry is beneficial but not required Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding recreational experiences!
