Hire Compensation:
$25-$28 per hour, depending on experience Hire Partnership is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and versatile Payroll & Marketing Coordinator to join our team in downtown Boston. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety. You'll handle important payroll and billing responsibilities while also assisting with marketing, social media, client outreach, and general office projects. We're looking for someone who can be extremely accurate with numbers and data but is also comfortable switching gears to create a social media post, send an email campaign, research prospective clients, or jump in wherever help is needed. We're a small, collaborative team where everyone pitches in and has an opportunity to make an impact. Responsibilities Payroll & Billing Process two weekly payrolls using Paychex. Prepare and process client invoices. Review payroll and billing information for accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Enter client payments and checks into QuickBooks. Maintain payroll, billing, and financial records. Assist with Excel projects, reporting, and data management. Marketing & Business Development Create and schedule social media content, particularly for LinkedIn. Assist with email marketing campaigns and mass email outreach to prospective clients. Maintain and update prospect and client contact lists. Research prospective clients and potential business opportunities. Assist with basic marketing materials and company communications. Track outreach and help coordinate follow-up efforts. Administrative Support Assist with special projects, data entry, and reporting. Maintain spreadsheets, databases, and internal records. Provide general administrative support and pitch in wherever needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable managing multiple priorities and switching between different types of work. Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software and systems. Familiarity with LinkedIn and social media content. Dependable, professional, and willing to take initiative. Experience with payroll, Paychex, QuickBooks, staffing/recruiting, CRM systems, email marketing, Canva, or social media management is a plus, but not required. Someone who can work carefully on payroll in the morning, help with a marketing campaign in the afternoon, and jump into an unexpected project when needed. You don't need to know everything on day one. We're looking for someone who learns quickly, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys being part of a small, fast-paced team.
