Immediately Job Description This is a .7 FTE position, 12-month work year, varied hours dependent upon school activities. Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee and maintain the district website, ensuring content is accurate, accessible, and up to date
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms and materials
  • Collaborate with school leaders and departments to highlight programs, achievements, and initiatives
  • Write, edit, and proofread communications including news stories, website content, email communications, brochures, advertisements, event promotions, and other marketing materials for prospective families, current families, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the school
  • Manage and maintain district communication platforms including social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Parent Square e.g.)
  • Coordinate media outreach and cultivate positive relationships with local news outlets and community organizations
  • Identify opportunities to increase public awareness and recognition of district programs, events and accomplishments
  • Plan, promote, and attend district events to gather and share content across communication channels
  • Promote effective use of district communication tools among staff to strengthen school-family-community engagement
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
