The Beraka Juice family currently consists of 5-10 members. In a given week, we are producing juices and actively participating at events such as farmers' markets, fairs, corporate and festivals.

We make everything from scratch:

from washing and cutting produce, to labeling and filling juice bottles - we do it all! Additional activities include serving guests at our local shops in Kendall Square, Cambridge and Winthrop.​ Our production takes place in Winthrop, MA with events taking place in towns/cities within 30 miles of Winthrop. ​ About the Job Market/Event Juiceristas are Beraka Juice's brand ambassadors and are responsible for extending our love everywhere we go! This position is for friendly, dynamic individuals who enjoy working events, talking with people, and are capable of multitasking with a positive attitude. This job is part-time. Market seasons are May through October and November through February. Most market shifts are currently 6-8 hours long from pick up to drop off. Whether you can work 1 shift per week or 3, we offer flexible scheduling. Our Market/Event Juiceristas also work at our local shops in Winthrop and/or Kendall Square, Cambridge during the off-market season. Job Duties Set up and breakdown of the market stall including packing & unpacking market equipment and inventory, driving to and from market locations Arriving to markets/events on time, Preparing tastings for the start of the event. Provide a high level of customer service and information to guests at markets/events Learn about the Beraka Juice way to share with guests Engaging guests, educating them on our products, and providing an exceptional guest experience. Must provide own transportation Report issues, guest feedback and questions Spread the juice love! Qualifications and working conditions Valid driver's license, and comfortable driving in Boston and surrounding areas Weekend availability Smartphone and Square app, for point of sales back-up Able to lift 40 lbs safely, and repeatedly as well as able work physically for 4+ hours ServSafe and/or Allergen Awareness Certification is preferred but not required About You LOVE our juices and interested in local food Joyful with a can-do attitude Possess strong interpersonal skills, exhibiting tact, patience, and courtesy. Excellent customer service skills, strong communication, organizational and time management skills, Self-motivated and able to work under limited supervision Able to operate retail tech and responsibly handle a variety of payment methods Familiarity with merchandising techniques: upselling experience is a plus Resourceful and able to respond to issues that arise creatively, efficiently, and effectively Willing to learn, receive and provide feedback Able to learn quickly and follow all food and safety guidelines A desire and willingness to work outside (in the rain, the heat & cold too!)
