Job Description
James Martin Chevrolet is seeking a disciplined, high-energy Business Development Representative (BDC) to join our team. As the primary point of contact for internet and phone inquiries, you will be responsible for managing the customer experience from the initial lead until they arrive at the dealership. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess exceptional communication skills, and are driven by hitting volume and appointment-setting targets.
Key Responsibilities Lead Management:
Promptly respond to all inbound internet inquiries and phone leads via CRM, email, and text.Appointment Setting:
Coordinate with the sales department to schedule appointments for prospective clients.Outbound Prospecting:
Conduct follow-up calls with "unsold" leads and maintain a consistent follow-up schedule to build a robust pipeline.Customer Experience:
Provide professional, accurate information regarding vehicle inventory, pricing, and dealership services.Data Integrity:
Maintain precise and detailed records of all customer interactions within our CRM system to ensure seamless hand-offs to the sales team.Performance Metrics:
Meet or exceed daily/weekly KPIs, including call volume, contact rates, and appointment-show rates.Qualifications Experience:
Previous experience in a BDC, call center, or automotive sales environment is preferred, but we will train candidates with a strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude.Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills are non-negotiable. You must be comfortable on the phone and proficient in professional email/text etiquette.Technology:
Proficient in basic computer skills and comfortable learning dealership-specific software (CRM/DMS).Reliability:
A high degree of self-accountability and punctuality.Education:
