Full-Time Position Summary At NorthStar Regional, our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based addiction and mental health treatment while building strong partnerships throughout the communities we serve. We are seeking a highly motivated, outgoing, and relationship-driven Marketing Outreach Coordinator to expand our referral network, strengthen community partnerships, and increase awareness of NorthStar Regional's continuum of care. This role combines business development, community engagement, marketing, event coordination, and relationship management. The ideal candidate enjoys networking, public speaking, building meaningful relationships, and representing an organization that is making a positive impact on individuals and families. Marketing Outreach Coordinator Primary Responsibilities Community Outreach & Business Development Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners, including: Hospitals Detox and withdrawal management centers Behavioral health providers County agencies Probation and corrections Recovery organizations Mental health clinics Schools and universities Employers Veterans organizations Faith-based organizations Sober living and recovery residences Conduct scheduled site visits throughout assigned territory. Deliver educational presentations to community partners and professional organizations. Coordinate facility tours for referral partners. Identify new referral opportunities and develop strategic outreach plans. Maintain consistent follow-up with existing referral sources. Marketing & Brand Awareness Execute targeted email marketing campaigns. Assist with social media planning and content creation. Create newsletters, flyers, brochures, and promotional materials. Coordinate video testimonials and success stories. Support community awareness campaigns and marketing initiatives. Ensure brand consistency across all outreach efforts. Assist with website content updates as needed. Community Engagement Represent NorthStar Regional at: Conferences Community events Health fairs Recovery events Networking groups Professional association meetings Build collaborative partnerships that improve access to care. Participate in community committees and coalitions. CRM & Data Management Maintain accurate referral contact information within the CRM.
Document outreach activities including:
Calls Emails Meetings Site visits Presentations Track referral trends and outreach metrics. Generate reports and provide recommendations based on referral data.
Collaboration Work closely with:
Admissions Clinical teams Executive leadership Marketing department Communicate current program availability to referral partners. Coordinate internal initiatives supporting outreach and marketing efforts. Assist with strategic planning for market growth. Administrative Responsibilities Schedule presentations and outreach meetings. Maintain outreach calendar. Prepare presentation materials and marketing packets. Coordinate conference registrations and logistics. Assist in planning internal and external marketing events. Qualifications Required Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of experience in: Business Development Healthcare Marketing Community Relations Behavioral Health Sales Outreach Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong relationship-building abilities Valid driver's license with reliable transportation Ability to travel throughout assigned territory Preferred Experience within: Substance Use Disorder Treatment Behavioral Health Mental Health Healthcare CRM experience Email marketing experience (Mailchimp or similar) Canva experience Social media marketing experience Event planning experience Marketing Outreach Coordinator Desired Skills Relationship Management Networking Public Speaking Business Development Marketing Strategy Community Engagement Time Management Organization Project Coordination CRM Management Microsoft Office Suite Canva Mailchimp Data Analysis Problem Solving Professional Communication Success Metrics The Marketing Outreach Coordinator will be evaluated on: New referral partnerships established Referral volume growth Community presentations completed Site visits conducted CRM accuracy and activity Marketing campaign engagement Event participation Referral partner satisfaction Territory growth Brand awareness initiatives completed Physical Requirements Frequent local travel throughout Minnesota. Pay:
$45,760.00 - $54,080.00 per year
