Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator will work directly with the Firm's Marketing Member to assist with the daily marketing operations of the Firm. The candidate will need to be a quick learner, able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to pivot when asked to work on multiple operations-related and legal services. This position ensures compliance with marketing procedures; communicates effectively with internal and external contacts; possesses and applies high-level computer/technical skills; and contributes to the overall success of the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate conferences, webinars, and client events by managing logistics, promotional materials, and mailings.
  • Create/coordinate ads for same with firm's print media consultant.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of marketing projects and coordinate deliverables with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Coordinate all advertising with the attorney responsible for compliance with rules of professional responsibility.
  • Manage firm's website and maintain content with focus on attorney bios, keeping materials fresh and timely, and coordinating with service provider.
  • Draft ad copy, social media posts, and assist with content marketing initiatives.
  • Manage firm pages on Google Business and Apple Business.
  • Create new attorney welcome posts in coordination with HR to welcome new employees on professional platforms.
  • Update, manage, and order general brochure as well as geographically specific brochures.
  • Prepare marketing materials for marketing events and maintain inventory of marketing materials.
  • Manage and create attorney business cards and nametags for uniform and consistent branding.
  • Manage all printing needs such as letterhead and envelopes.
  • Update mailing lists and manage for potential clients/existing clients
  • Develop and conduct client surveys on various metrics; report survey results to the firm's Management Team and suggest action plans based on same.
  • Identify, manage, and order holiday gifts for clients after review by management.
  • Create and send out holiday cards. Review and circulate mail list to attorneys prior to order.
  • Track sponsorships for cost/budget and appropriate use of firm logo.
  • Coordinate yearly City Official Training and annual conferences.
  • Maintain firm marketing calendar with deadlines and events.
  • Assist with marketing components of strategic planning annually.
  • Gather and manage competitor information including competitor billing rates, client acquisitions, personnel changes, in-house attorney salaries, and marketing activities, etc.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Experience with social media platforms, digital advertising and graphic design tools, and project management software.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in tracking data and interpreting the success of marketing campaigns.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to grasp new concepts and ideas quickly.
  • Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
  • Possess strong proofreading and typing skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel if necessary.
Education and Experience:
  • Degree in marketing, communications, or business administration.
  • Degree or commensurate experience with graphic design a plus.
  • Three to five years of experience in a similar role.
  • Valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Ability to navigate various departments and locations of the firm.
  • Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.
  • Must be able to perform work in a variety of weather conditions.
