Farmers Market sales rep Jax Organix Colfax, NC Job Details Part-time $130 a day 5 hours ago Qualifications Event breakdown Updating inventory records Beauty & cosmetics sales Event setup Entry level Agricultural sales Full Job Description Im looking for a reliable, enthusiastic sales rep to work every Saturday/Sunday at my booth at the Piedmont Triad Farmers Market in Colfax. I need someone who has sales experience, enjoys sales and interacting with people. You would be selling clean skincare/beauty products. This farmers market is competitive on Saturdays and you have to show up around 4-430 a.m. to get a decent spot (I used to sleep in my car to ensure the best spot). The market set up begins at 7 and I usually pack up by 2 (you can stay as long as you want but must stay until 1:30) . Sundays are much more relaxed, you can show up and get a good spot for the day around 8:30 am and again, stay until 1:30 (you may stay longer if you wish). The pay base pay is $130 for Saturday and $100 for Sunday -plus commission (both days). Once you surpass $350 in sales you receive 10% of all sales for the remainder of the day. I have never made less than $300 at the market in a day for reference. ( an average day for me is $700 but ive had $1500 days too) So there is plenty of room for commission opportunity and the flexibility to stay as long as you wish for the day which allows even more opportunity for commision. We offer same day payment via cash or zelle. You would absolutely have to have reliable transportation for this position and be willing to work the weekend. You must track inventory and update us after each market so we can track cash sales and keep you stocked for the next market. You would be responsible for setting up and breaking down the booth each market. You would be responsible for inventory. Must be a people's person and passionate for sales. This is a fun weekend job and we are looking for someone who will enjoy and thrive in this position!
