Winston-Salem, NC Job Details $60,000 - $80,000 a year 20 hours ago Qualifications Vendor relationship building Customer communication Research Driver's License Full Job Description Universal Stone Imports is seeking a passionate marketing professional to take ownership of USI's marketing strategy execution. This is opportunity with growth potential that requires both a strategic mindset and hands-on delivery capabilities. The Marketing Coordinator will work with the Sales/Marketing Director to set the direction for USI's brand presence across digital, print, and in-person channels, manage agency relationships, drive content strategy based on inventory and sales priorities, and personally execute a wide range of creative and campaign assets. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a strong creative eye, proven campaign experience, and the ability to move between strategy and execution without losing a step. Responsibilities Marketing Strategy and Planning Execute USI's overall marketing strategy in coordination with the Sales/Marketing Director. Build and manage a rolling content calendar aligned to inventory priorities, seasonal campaigns, product launches, and sales team input. Regularly gather feedback from the sales team on what messaging, products, and campaigns are performing and use that data to adjust strategy. Research industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging marketing opportunities; present ideas and recommendations to leadership proactively. Coordinate with the director on marketing budget planning, expense tracking, and vendor management. Content Creation and Social Media Manage and maintain all USI social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube), posting consistently and engaging with followers. Film on-site photos, videos, and short-form content using an iPhone or provided camera equipment; handle editing for social media, website, and other digital channels. Coordinate with customers, dealers, and contractors to schedule project photoshoots for use in catalogs, brochures, website, and social content. Design graphics, flyers, social media artwork, and digital assets using Canva or comparable tools. Produce branded print materials including brochures, product sheets, sell sheets, and event collateral. Ensure all content is accurate, on-brand, and reflects current product availability and pricing. Email Marketing Develop and execute email marketing campaigns including promotions, product launches, drip sequences, and dealer-facing communications. Design email artwork and layout in Canva; manage list segmentation and distribution through the company's email platform. Analyze email performance (open rates, click-throughs, conversions) and optimize based on results. Website and SEO Add and update website content on an ongoing basis, including new/updated product pages, blog posts, landing pages, and promotional content. Implement SEO best practices across all web content to improve organic visibility and search ranking. Monitor website performance metrics and work with agency partners or internal resources to address issues and pursue opportunities. Agency and Paid Media Management Serve as USI's primary point of contact for all external marketing and advertising agencies. Provide agencies with accurate product information, photography, campaign direction, and budget parameters on a consistent basis. Review all ad creative, copy, and targeting before launch; ensure brand accuracy and message alignment. Hold agencies accountable to performance benchmarks; review campaign results regularly and direct optimizations. Manage paid advertising strategy in coordination with the director, including Google, Meta, and any other active channels. Evaluate agency performance and make recommendations on vendor relationships as needed. Brand, Events, and Public Relations Lead USI's presence at trade shows and industry events, including planning, collateral preparation, booth setup, and on-site representation. Assist with the organization of customer events and company-sponsored experiences. Maintain and evolve USI's brand standards across all public-facing materials and channels. Oversee and maintain all public-facing documentation, literature, apparel, giveaway items, and printed materials on an ongoing basis. Address campaign problems and troubleshoot issues quickly to minimize disruption to active marketing efforts. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, graphic design, or a related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional marketing role with demonstrated ownership of strategy and execution. Experience in stone, hardscapes, construction, outdoor living, or related industries is a strong plus. Proven track record developing and executing both high-level marketing strategies and targeted campaigns. Portfolio of past marketing and design work strongly preferred. Skills and Tools Proficient with Canva or comparable design software for graphics, flyers, email templates, and print collateral. Comfortable filming and editing photo and video content on an iPhone or similar device for social media and digital distribution. Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar) including list management, design, and performance reporting. Strong working knowledge of social media platforms and content best practices across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Working knowledge of SEO principles and website content management (WordPress or comparable CMS). Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel and SAP Business One or comparable ERP platform. Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Strong creative instincts balanced with analytical thinking and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to represent USI professionally in any setting. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities under deadline without close supervision. A self-starter mentality is a must to succeed in this role. Additional Requirements Valid driver's license and U.S. residency required. Must be able to lift at least 60 lbs. Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
