Job Summary This is a part-time position. Hours are based on business needs, bookings, events, and seasonal demand. Weekly hours are not guaranteed. Pinspiration Greenville is an arts and crafts studio dedicated to providing guests with a unique and inspiring DIY experience. The Creative Assistant needs to be motivated and personable. This position plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, facilitating creative projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of the studio. The Creative Assistant will possess a strong interest in the arts, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, hands-on environment. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to all guests Guide and support customers with their DIY projects Update retail displays Greet and assist guests with project selection and crafting guidance Set up and clean up crafting stations before and after use Provide hands-on support to guests during workshops, parties, and events Prepare project kits and tools Maintain inventory of supplies and restock materials as needed Ensure the studio remains clean, organized, and safe for all guests Operate the point-of-sale system and handle customer transactions Assist with social media content creation and studio promotions Support team members and contribute to a positive studio culture Assist with events at different locations outside of studio, such as Mobile Splatter parties Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Skills, Education, and Experience Familiarity with social media, iPads, and computers Outgoing and friendly personality Passion for arts, crafts, and DIY projects Strong interpersonal and communication skills Friendly, outgoing, and customer-service oriented Responsible, self-motivated, and proactive problem-solver Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, creative environment Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or art instruction Basic knowledge of crafting tools and materials (e.g., paint, glue guns, vinyl cutters) Physical Demands Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching to assist with projects and supplies Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. (e.g., boxes of materials, equipment) Manual ability to operate crafting tools and equipment safely Work Environment Fun, collaborative, and creative studio setting Exposure to crafting materials such as paint, glue, glitter, and wood Fast-paced environment, especially during events and peak hours Occasional noise from group activities, music, and crafting tools Team-oriented culture with a focus on guest experience and artistic expression Flexible work environment with responsibilities that may extend beyond the main studio location
