We are an international non-profit supporting our neighbors in need through spirituality, friendship and service. We provide food clothing, material & financial homeless prevention assistance since 1868.

Operations Director Job Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Society with all marketing aspects. This person will help strengthen our organization's public presence, in general, and especially in the areas of traditional and digital marketing and donor communications for the district office, affiliates, and thrift stores. Marketing efforts include, although are not limited to developing and implementing a strategic communications plan related to social media, website, email, events, graphic design, advertising, branding, and promotion. This person will also conduct regular analyses of digital marketing efforts and prepare reports by summarizing data. In addition, this position provides organizational donor database support and management.
Roles and responsibilities:
Produce and manage narrative and graphic design content for organization's traditional and digital marketing efforts, including social media, website, email, brochures, promotions and any other online and offline communications platforms and applications Assist Development Director with, and support donor communications, including emails, monthly newsletters, appeals, and any other online and offline campaigns/efforts Manage donor database, reporting, integrations, communication templates, and updates Manage Constant Contact email marketing account and its integrations, including contact lists and segmentation Conduct regular analyses of digital and other marketing efforts and prepare related reports Manage all logos, letterhead, photos, videos, graphics, and other digital media and ensure a consistent message across the Society Interact with the public and represent our organization in a professional manner Provide organizational donor database support and management Backup support for donation data entry and thank you letters Attend required meetings and trainings All other duties as assigned Skills and education requirements 2+ years' experience with traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing, preferred Highly computer literate and proficient in a variety of digital platforms and technologies, including social media, website design, email marketing, graphic design (e.g. Canva, Adobe, etc.), donor databases, Microsoft products, required Experience using data analytics Excellent communication and presentation skills Bachelor's in Marketing or Communications or related field, preferred Photographic and video production experience Essential Qualities Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing Brings creativity and enthusiasm to every interaction, with a natural ability to engage and connect with people from all backgrounds. Organized, detail-oriented and effectively able to multi-task Skilled collaborator with strong interpersonal, relationship-building skills Comfortable self-starter and problem solver Experience and comfort with interacting daily with the homeless and near homeless populations we serve Work Environment Shared office; much of time on laptop, in meetings Occasionally local travel as needed Must have a flexible schedule to work occasional weekends/evenings
