Duties Develop and execute outreach strategies to build strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community groups. Organize and participate in community events, and promotional activities to raise awareness of our programs and services. Act as a liaison between the organization and external partners, ensuring clear communication and mutual understanding. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly. Promote upcoming events, initiatives, and campaigns through various local channels and direct outreach. Skills Strong background in marketing with experience in event marketing and community engagement. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to connect with diverse audiences effectively. Customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Ability to organize multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Enthusiastic team player with proactive problem-solving skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Selling advertising and sponsorship opportunities to businesses, helps support our unique institution is important to our non-profit. As a part-time position with the busiest period for sales as February through May, this position is ideal for someone who is recently retired yet is looking for new challenges within the business community. Candidates must live within a 45-minute commute to LBIF, have a college degree, and understand our cultural enterprise.
